Simons catback sports exhaust for Audi A3 8L, Volkswagen Golf 4 and Volkswagen New Beetle. The system fits selected models with 1.8T, 1.8Ti, 1.9 TDI and 1.9 SDI engines from 1996-2005 depending on model.
The exhaust is made from stainless steel with a 63.5 millimetre pipe diameter and 2 x 80 millimetre tailpipes. The larger pipe diameter provides freer flow than the standard exhaust and helps reduce back pressure, giving the engine a freer and more sporty character. The system is developed with extra low back pressure and is perfect for turbo engines.
The twin 80 millimetre tailpipes give the car a more distinctive and sporty rear appearance. At the same time, the car gets a deeper and more defined sound without becoming an uncompromising race system for daily use.
The stainless steel construction provides high durability and longer service life compared with a standard exhaust system. The system is suitable for both normal road use and more sporty setups.
The system is E-marked and type-approved according to European requirements for road use, where the car’s other setup and local regulations allow it.
Note:
The system is developed for turbo models and has extra low back pressure. It is therefore only suitable for cars with turbo and only fits Audi A3 and Golf 4 models without a cutout in the rear bumper/spoiler.
