Simons catback sports exhaust for Audi A3 8P, SEAT Altea, Volkswagen Golf 5 and Volkswagen Golf 6. The system fits selected models with 1.4 TSI, 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TFSI engines depending on model.
The exhaust is manufactured from stainless steel with 76 millimetre pipe diameter and 1 x 100 millimetre tailpipe. The larger pipe diameter provides a freer flow than the standard exhaust and helps reduce back pressure, giving the engine a more free and sporty character. The system is especially suitable for turbo engines, where lower back pressure can be an advantage.
The large 100 millimetre tailpipe gives the car a distinctive and sporty appearance at the rear. At the same time, the car gets a deeper and more noticeable sound without becoming a compromise-free race system for daily use.
The stainless steel construction provides high durability and longer service life compared to a normal standard exhaust system. The system is suitable for both regular road use and more sporty setups.
The system is E-marked and type-approved according to European requirements for road use, where the car’s remaining setup and local regulations allow it.
Spoiler without cut-out for the tailpipe must be modified during installation.
