Simons catback sports exhaust for Audi A3 8P, Volkswagen Golf 5 and Volkswagen Golf 6 with turbo engine. The system fits selected 2WD models with 1.4 TFSI, 1.4 TSI, 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TFSI engine.
The exhaust is built from stainless steel with a 76 millimetre pipe diameter and duplex 4 x 80 millimetre tailpipes. The larger pipe diameter gives a more open flow than a standard exhaust system and can help reduce back pressure, especially on turbo engines where exhaust flow is important.
The four 80 millimetre tailpipes give the car a distinctive and sporty look with two tailpipes on each side. The system also gives a deeper and more noticeable sound than standard, without becoming a pure race system.
The stainless steel construction gives better durability than a normal standard exhaust system and is suitable for both normal road use and a more sporty setup.
The system is E-marked. This means that the exhaust is type-approved according to European requirements and can be used for road use where the vehicle’s remaining setup and local regulations allow it.
Note: If the vehicle’s spoiler/bumper does not have a cut-out for the tailpipes, a cut-out must be made during installation.
