Simons catback sports exhaust for Audi A4 B8 Sedan, Avant and Allroad, as well as Audi A5 Coupé, Sportback and Cabriolet with 3.0 TDI engine, and can be used for both 2WD and Quattro models. The system fits models from 2008-2016 and is installed after the original downpipe as the rear section of the exhaust.
The exhaust is made from stainless steel with a 70 millimetre main pipe and 2 x 57 millimetre pipework to the two rear silencers. The duplex layout with double twin exit, 2 x 80 millimetre + 2 x 80 millimetre tailpipes, gives the car a more distinctive and sporty rear-end look with a design inspired by the Audi S models.
On the 3.0 TDI, the system gives a deeper and fuller diesel sound compared to the standard exhaust, especially under acceleration and load. The sound becomes more distinctive without becoming too aggressive for normal road use. The larger and more open pipework can also help improve flow and reduce back pressure, which suits both standard and optimised 3.0 TDI engines well.
The system is E-marked and type-approved for road use according to European requirements, where the vehicle’s remaining setup and local regulations allow it.
The rear spoiler/diffuser must be modified during installation. Original diffuser from Audi S5 can be used on models with S-line exterior package.
