Simons catback sports exhaust for Audi S3 8L Quattro with 1.8T turbo engine. The system fits models from 1999-2003 with 210 or 225 horsepower and is installed after the catalytic converter.
The exhaust is made from stainless steel with 70 millimetre pipe diameter and an oval 85 x 150 millimetre tailpipe. The larger pipework gives better flow than a standard exhaust system and can help reduce back pressure, which is relevant on the 1.8T turbo engine.
The sound becomes deeper and sportier than original, while still being usable for normal road use. On the Audi S3 8L, the system gives a more noticeable turbo engine sound under acceleration, without the car losing its classic OEM character.
The system is E-marked and type-approved for road use according to European requirements, where the car’s remaining setup and local regulations allow it.
Can also be fitted to Audi A3 8L Quattro if the spoiler is modified or replaced with an S3 spoiler.
