Simons catback sports exhaust for BMW 3 series E36 316i and 318i. The system fits Sedan, Coupé, Convertible and Touring models from 1990-1997 and is supplied as a complete sports exhaust after the catalytic converter.
The catback system is made from stainless steel with 63.5 millimetre pipework, which splits into 2 x 57 millimetres towards the rear silencer. The system has 2 x 80 millimetre tailpipes and gives the car a sportier and more distinctive rear appearance.
The larger pipework provides a more open flow than a standard exhaust system and can contribute to a deeper and sportier sound.
The system is E-marked. This means that the exhaust is type-approved according to European requirements and can be used for road use where the car’s other setup and local regulations allow it.
The plastic spoiler under the rear bumper must be modified or replaced with a spoiler suitable for 325i, so there is correct space for the tailpipes.
