Simons 084-H is a sports exhaust system developed for Opel Ascona B and Opel Manta B 1.6S, 1.8S, 1.9S, 1.9N and 2.0E Sedan from 1975-1988. The system is mounted to the downpipe and is model-specific for the sedan versions, so it replaces the relevant parts of the original exhaust. The system does not fit hatchback models.
The system has a 50.8 millimetre pipe diameter, which provides better flow and lower back pressure than many original systems. This can give the engine a freer character, more direct response and a sportier sound, which suits the classic Ascona B and Manta B models well.
The 80 millimetre tailpipe gives the car a more distinctive and sporty look from the rear. The system is made from aluminised steel and is supplied as a kit for installation together with a suitable Simons downpipe, which must be ordered separately.
