Simons catback sports exhaust for Saab 9-3 1.8T, 2.0T, 2.8T, Aero and BioPower SportSedan, SportCombi and Convertible from 2004-2014 with the small 58-litre fuel tank. The system is made from stainless steel and has a 63.5 millimetre pipe diameter, which transitions into 2 x 54 millimetre pipework for the dual duplex rear silencer setup.
The larger pipe diameter provides better flow and lower back pressure than a standard exhaust system. This suits Saab turbo engines particularly well, where freer exhaust flow can improve response, provide a deeper sound and support a more sporty driving experience. The system is mounted from the catalytic converter/flex pipe and backwards.
The system has duplex 100 + 100 millimetre tailpipes, giving the car a significantly more aggressive and symmetrical rear appearance.
Note:
On Saab 9-3 1.8T and 2.0T, the bumper must be modified or replaced, and the right body bracket 063-FTH must be installed. 063-FTH is not included and must be purchased separately.
