Simons catback sports exhaust for Saab 9-5 Turbo 2.0/2.3 Sedan and Estate 1998-2001, as well as Saab 9-5 Aero Sedan and Estate 1998-2003. The system is installed after the catalytic converter/flex section and can also be used on non-Aero models 2002-2005 if the spoiler is modified.
With 63.5 millimetre pipework and an oval 90/120 millimetre tailpipe, the Saab 9-5 gets a sportier and period-correct look without making the rear appear excessive. The oval tailpipe suits the classic body shape of the 9-5 and gives a more pronounced appearance than the standard exhaust.
The exhaust is developed with focus on lower back pressure, better flow and a deeper turbo character. The sound becomes fuller and clearer under load and acceleration, which suits both 2.0T, 2.3T and Aero models with turbo engines.
The system is made from chrome steel and supplied as a model-specific kit for Saab 9-5.
