Simons catback sports exhaust for Saab 9-5 Turbo 2.0/2.3 Sedan and Estate (SportWagon) from 2006-2010, as well as Saab 9-5 Aero Sedan and Estate (SportWagon) from 2004-2010. The system fits models with an opening in the spoiler and is mounted after the catalytic converter/flex pipe and rearwards.
The system is made from Chrome Steel and has a 63.5 millimetre pipe diameter throughout the system. The larger pipe diameter provides better exhaust flow and lower back pressure than many original or worn standard systems, which suits Saab turbo engines well.
In terms of sound, the Saab 9-5 gets a deeper and more distinct turbo character. The sound becomes fuller and sportier than standard, but without removing the car’s classic, mature Saab character.
Visually, the oval 90/120 millimetre tailpipe gives the car a stronger and more exclusive rear appearance. The shape of the tailpipe suits models with an opening in the spoiler well and gives the rear end a more complete and sporty look.
