The exhaust has a 70 millimetre pipe diameter, providing better flow and lower back pressure than a standard exhaust. This suits the turbocharged Volvo 850, S70 and V70 AWD models well, where exhaust flow and back pressure have a major impact on engine response and sound character. The Simons system gives the car a more sporty sound and a distinct performance look.
The twin 90/120 millimetre tailpipes provide a wide duplex finish with one tailpipe on each side. This gives the car a clear sporty appearance that suits the classic Volvo Turbo AWD models well.
The exhaust is mounted to the car’s original pipework after the catalytic converter. The system is developed for the Turbo AWD models and is supplied as a complete kit with pipes, rear silencers and mounting kit.
