This Simons catback sports exhaust has been developed for the classic Volvo turbo models on the P80 platform. The system fits Volvo 850 sedan and estate 1994-1997, Volvo S70 sedan and Volvo V70 estate 1997-2000, as well as Volvo C70 coupé and convertible 1996-2005 with turbo engine. The system is manufactured from chrome-plated steel and provides freer exhaust flow as well as a more pronounced sound than the standard exhaust.
With a pipe diameter of 63.5 millimetres, reduced back pressure and improved exhaust flow are achieved. At the same time, the large 100 millimetre tailpipe gives the car a sportier appearance without unnecessarily changing the classic Volvo design. The system has been developed for all petrol turbo engines in the listed models, but not diesel versions.
The exhaust is a popular solution for Volvo 850 T5, 2.3 Turbo, 2.5 Turbo, S70 T5, V70 T5 and C70 Turbo models where a sportier appearance and deeper exhaust sound are desired. The system is supplied as a complete catback kit ready for installation from the catalytic converter and back.
