Simons stainless steel catback sports exhaust developed for Volkswagen Golf 4 Turbo models. The system is designed with focus on low back pressure and improved flow, making it especially suitable for turbo engines where a more efficient exhaust flow can contribute to better response and a sportier driving experience. At the same time, the system gives a deeper and more pronounced sound without unnecessarily changing the character of the car.
The exhaust is made from stainless steel for long durability and high resistance to rust and corrosion. Simons uses a proven construction that combines low back pressure with a pleasant sporty sound. The system is fitted from the catalytic converter and backwards as a complete catback system. The rear section is finished with dual 80 millimetre tailpipes, giving the Golf 4 a sportier and more exclusive appearance.
The system is E-marked. This means that the exhaust is type-approved according to European requirements and can be used for road use where the car’s other setup and local regulations allow it.
Note:
This version is intended for cars with a cut-out in the rear bumper. On cars without a cut-out, the bumper must be modified or replaced with a Syncro/VR6-type bumper with a suitable cut-out. The system is developed with extra low back pressure for turbo engines.
