Simons catback sports exhaust for Volkswagen Golf 7R and Audi S3 8V Quattro with 2.0 TFSI turbo engine. The system fits 4WD MQB models from approximately 2013-2017.
The exhaust is made from stainless steel with a 76 millimetre main pipe, which splits into 2 x 63.5 millimetre rear pipes and 2 x 90 millimetre + 2 x 90 millimetre tailpipes. The larger pipe diameter gives a freer flow than the standard exhaust and can reduce back pressure, which is especially relevant on the modern EA888 turbo engine.
The large 90 millimetre tailpipes give the car a distinctive and aggressive sporty rear-end look. At the same time, the car gets a deeper and fuller sound than standard, without becoming a dedicated race system.
The system is not E-marked and is therefore intended for motorsport or use where local regulations allow it.
