Simons universal catalytic converter 400 cell ceramic – E5 approved

This Simons universal catalytic converter is built with a 400 cell ceramic core and is designed to provide optimal exhaust gas cleaning combined with the lowest possible flow restriction. The construction makes it suitable for both standard vehicles and lightly tuned engines where an efficient catalytic converter is required without restricting exhaust flow.

The catalytic converter is E5 approved and can be used on vehicles up to OBDII (before 2001), making it suitable for older cars, conversions and special projects where legal emission control is still required together with performance-oriented exhaust flow.

The conical connections at both ends are designed for maximum flow and installation flexibility. The connections can be shortened and adapted to fit pipe dimensions from 45 mm to 63 mm (1.75" to 2.5"), making the catalytic converter highly suitable for universal use in custom exhaust systems.

The catalytic converter is recommended for engines up to 2.5 litres and approx. 200 hp, where it provides a good balance between effective catalysis and low system resistance.

An integrated threaded bung for a lambda sensor is included, making installation simple in systems with an oxygen sensor.
