Simons sport rear silencer for Opel Insignia Sedan and Hatchback 2WD 2.0 Diesel with 81, 96 and 118 kW engines. The system is the rear section of the exhaust with Y-pipe, sport rear silencers and duplex tailpipes on both sides.
The exhaust is made of stainless steel, which provides good durability against heat, moisture and normal road use. It is suitable for Opel Insignia where a more sporty rear appearance is desired without replacing the entire exhaust system.
The system features duplex tailpipes with 90/120 millimeter oval outlets on both sides. This gives the car a more distinctive and sporty look, where the exhaust becomes a clear part of the rear design.
The system is E-approved. This means the exhaust is type-approved according to European regulations and can be used for road use where the vehicle setup and local regulations allow it.
Note: The system is only for engines with particulate filter. The diffuser must be modified or replaced with the diffuser from a turbo petrol model. If the vehicle is missing the right-side rear silencer bracket, Simons article 081D6AFT must also be used.
