Smaller steering wheels can provide faster steering response, while deeper steering wheels can move the wheel closer to the driver and provide a better driving position. Materials such as suede, leather and alcantara are often used to provide good grip and comfort during driving.

When choosing a steering wheel and steering wheel accessories, it is important to ensure correct fitment for the car model, steering wheel hub and bolt pattern. You should also be aware that fitting a motorsport steering wheel in newer cars often means that the airbag, steering wheel buttons and original electronics are removed.
