1.5 litre surge tank for underbody mounting

This 1.5 litre surge tank is a practical solution for fuel systems where a more stable fuel supply is needed during hard driving, motorsport, or custom-built projects. It is designed for mounting under the vehicle and is prepared for installation of 1 Bosch 044 fuel pump and 1 fuel filter as shown in the image.

A surge tank is typically used to ensure that the fuel pump always has access to fuel, even during hard acceleration, braking, or cornering where an uneven supply from the main tank can otherwise occur. This makes this solution suitable for track cars, tuned street cars, and other projects where a more stable fuel system is important.

The surge tank has 3 AN6 connections and 1 AN10 outlet for the fuel pump. When used together with PTFE hoses, it can also be used with fuels such as alcohol, methanol, and ethanol, making it relevant for more demanding setups.
