Fuel Surge Tank 3.0 liter – single or dual internal pump
This fuel surge tank is developed for high-performance street and motorsport builds where stable fuel delivery under extreme loads is critical. The tank can be configured with either one or two internal fuel pumps and is designed to handle very high power levels and G-forces.
The internal billet aluminum pump bracket ensures a secure and durable mounting of the fuel pumps directly inside the surge tank. The setup supports both single and dual pump configurations, allowing the pumps to run together or individually via separate electrical connections in the top lid.
The surge tank fits 1–2 Walbro GST400, GST450, and GST520 fuel pumps, as well as most common 39 mm fuel pumps without any modifications. Pumps such as DW200, DW300, AEM 340, Aeromotive 340, as well as larger models like Bosch BR540 and Deatschwerks DW400, can be mounted directly in the same tank.
The external surge tank allows the use of high-pressure in-tank fuel pumps without extensive modifications to the OEM fuel tank. The system effectively reduces the risk of fuel starvation at low fuel levels during aggressive driving such as drifting, drag racing, and track days, where loads exceeding 2G may occur. The engine return line is routed directly back to the surge tank, keeping it constantly filled.
The tank features ORB threaded ports and an oversized AN-10 ORB outlet that combines both internal pumps into a single fuel line. Inlet, return, and overflow ports are AN-8 ORB, providing great flexibility when choosing fittings. Fuel pumps, fittings, and additional accessories can be purchased separately under related products.
