K04 turbo outlet flange for hose connection – 51 mm
This K04 outlet flange is developed for the BorgWarner K04-064 turbocharger and is used as a replacement for the original silencer at the compressor outlet. The flange is made from aluminium and allows connection to a 51 mm hose, making the setup more pressure-stable than the original click connection. This makes it well suited for upgraded setups and custom intercooler piping systems.
A K04 silencer replacement flange is often used on 2.0 TSI/TFSI EA113 engines where improved flow, a stronger connection and the option to build a custom boost pipe system are desired. It can also provide a more noticeable turbo spool sound and faster response. It replaces the original OEM click connection (OE 06H131111), which can be a weak point on the standard setup.
