Simons 041-HCR is a complete stainless steel catback sports exhaust for VW Golf 4 V6 4Motion/Syncro from 1996-2003. The system is installed from the catalytic converter and backwards and is developed as a complete sports system with lower back pressure, deeper sound and a sportier appearance.
The exhaust is made from stainless steel and has a 70 millimetre pipe diameter and an 85/150 millimetre tailpipe. This gives the Golf 4 V6 a more distinctive rear look while maintaining good model-specific fitment.
The system also fits models with smaller engines if the spoiler is replaced or modified. It is therefore important to check the space by the rear bumper/spoiler before installation on variants other than V6 4Motion/Syncro.
The system is E-marked. This means that the exhaust is type-approved according to European requirements and can be used for road use where the car’s other setup and local regulations allow it.
