Camber plates
Camber plates are a popular suspension upgrade when you want better options for adjusting wheel alignment and achieving a more precise front-end setup. They are typically mounted at the top of the strut as a replacement for, or upgrade of, the original top mounts and make it possible to adjust camber, and on some solutions also caster depending on the design. This makes camber plates especially relevant on lowered cars, cars used for spirited street driving, trackdays, or motorsport, where correct wheel geometry has a major impact on grip, stability, and steering feel.
Camber plates are often used together with coilovers or other sports suspension setups where more adjustment options are needed than with the standard suspension. On many performance and motorsport cars, they are an important part of a proper suspension setup because they allow more precise fine-tuning of wheel alignment without compromising fitment and function. Some models are made with uniballs or harder materials to reduce flex and provide a more direct steering feel, while other solutions are developed with more focus on combining performance with everyday usability for street cars.
