Oil feed & return
Oil feed and return are a central part of the lubrication of many engine components, especially on turbo engines where correct oil supply and efficient return are crucial for both function and durability. The system ensures that engine oil is delivered to components such as the turbo and then safely guided back to the engine again. A correctly built solution is important to avoid problems with lubrication, temperature and oil build-up.
On turbo cars, the oil feed is typically a pressurised system where oil is supplied from the engine’s oil circuit to the turbo bearings. Here it is important that both pressure and flow match the turbo’s specifications, as too high or too low oil pressure can affect both service life and function. In some setups, restrictors are used to control the oil volume, depending on the turbo design and requirements.
The oil return from the turbo works differently, as it is basically a free-flow drain without pressure. Here, correct sizing, angle and placement are important so the oil can flow freely back to the engine without resistance. If the return is too small, has too many bends or is positioned poorly, it can lead to oil build-up in the turbo, which may cause problems such as smoke or reduced function.
At Qualitec you will find components for both oil feed and return, including hoses, fittings, adapters, flanges and installation accessories. Solutions are available in different sizes and materials, allowing the system to be adapted for everything from simple upgrades to more advanced turbo and engine setups. This makes it possible to build a solution that matches available space, oil pressure and the desired setup.
