Simons racepipe 041T2R is developed as an alternative to the front silencer in selected Simons sports exhaust systems for Audi A3 8L. The racepipe replaces the front silencer and gives a freer flow through the exhaust system, reducing back pressure and giving a more direct and pronounced exhaust sound.
The racepipe is made from stainless steel and has a pipe diameter of 63.5 millimetres. It is developed for the Simons 041-H0R sports exhaust system and is recommended by Simons as an accessory for this system. When fitted, it gives a more open exhaust flow compared to the original front silencer setup.
As the racepipe replaces a silencer, the EC type approval for the exhaust system is no longer valid when fitted. The product is therefore primarily intended for motorsport, track use, show cars or other projects where EC type approval is not required.
Note:
The racepipe does not fit the original exhaust system. It is developed for the Simons sports exhaust system, and fitting it to original or other exhaust systems is done at your own risk.
