Simons racepipe 044T42R is developed as an alternative to silencer 044-42R in the Simons sports exhaust system for Audi A4 B6 2WD 1.8T. The racepipe is fitted as a replacement for the silencer and gives a higher sound level as well as freer flow through the exhaust system.
The racepipe has a 63.5 millimetre inlet and splits into 2 x 50.8 millimetre pipe diameter. It is intended for the Simons 044DH2R sports exhaust and does not fit directly onto the original exhaust system. Fitting to other systems is done at your own risk.
As the racepipe replaces a silencer, the EC type approval is not valid when fitted. The product is therefore primarily intended for motorsport, track use, show cars or other projects where EC type approval is not required.

The racepipe does not fit the original exhaust system. It is developed as an accessory for the Simons sports exhaust system.
