Wiseco Piston Kit Toy 1.3L 4E-FTE 8.2:1 / 1.5L 5E-FTE 9.2:1 is a forged piston kit developed for performance and motorsport use, where higher demands are placed on strength, durability, and load capacity than with standard pistons. The kit is made from 2618 aluminium, a well-known material for forged pistons in engines with high power potential.

The pistons can also be used in Toyota 4E-FE non-turbo engines. In this engine setup, the compression ratio will be lower, making them particularly suitable for turbo conversion of an original naturally aspirated engine.

The Wiseco K687M series can be used in both Toyota 4E and 5E engines. Although the stroke is different, the difference in block height means that the same piston design can be used in both engine families. This means that this piston kit can be used for both 1.3L 16V 4E-FTE and 1.5L 16V 5E-FTE.

Please note that the compression ratio depends on the engine in which the pistons are installed. On the 5E, the compression ratio is stated as 9.2:1, while on the 4E it is lower, around 8.2:1. This makes the kit relevant for builds, rebuilds, and performance projects where a stronger bottom end is desired.
